APPLE STORE TRIP
In today's digital world, creating projects using technology is a fundamental skill alongside math and reading. The students were given the opportunity to learn to make a 2-minute iMovie using their family history notes. They were videotaping themselves about where their families come from and their family culture. The "genius" educators showed the third graders how to download photos using google search, create a project on IMOVIE, narrate using voiceover and edit their videos. To top it off, they received a free Apple magnet pin and a flash drive to save the iMovies. The coolest thing of all was how the flash drive turned into a wristband!
