The Pumpkin Project of 2017 What happens when you mix TEN pumpkins and fifteen curious young mathematicians/scientists? You wind up with a messy, fun day of experiments. For the first week, we measure our pumpkins for weight, circumference, and number of creases. Using this data, we hypothesis how many seeds we might find in each pumpkin. Then we cut open our pumpkins, scoop out the seeds, and carefully count every last seed.
